NIS America Press Event 2017: THE GREAT REVEAL!

This year, I was able to attend the NIS America Press Event with my buddy, Hermsaur where they were able to talk about all the upcoming video games that NIS America will be releasing this year. This Press Event was held on February 17 at the Folsom Street Foundry in San Francisco, CA.

At the event, the attendees were able to test out some of their upcoming games, such as Disgaea 5 Complete, Danganronpa V3, and The Silver Case just to name a few. On top of all of that, we were able to dive into some delicious foods and drinks.  OH, and all of their drinks were video game and anime related, how funny?!

During the live broadcasting, NIS America showcased all of the new games with demos and their release dates (which are shown further down in the blog post below). We were granted the honor of having the creators of the Danganronpa series, Kazutaka Kodaka & Shun Sasaki, as well as the creator of The Silver Case, Suda51, talk about the games more into detail. PLUS, THEY WERE REALLY FUNNY! HAHA. xD

PERSONAL FAVES:

Since I was only able to test out some of the games, there some personal favorites that I’m excited for. Since I’m already a fan of the Dangonronpa series and anime, I’m really excited for V3 to come out. Unfortunately, at the time, the game was only playable in Japanese and you know, I’m lacking in translating that at the moment. HAHA. I was able to test out Disgaea 5 Complete and I thought it was really fun. I haven’t played much of the series, but the game was so much fun, that I’m going to end up playing it from the beginning. And lastly, I’m excited for the Tokyo Tattoo Girls game. Personally, I’m a fan of tattoos and NIS America happen to find a way to incorporate that art into a game. WHAT’S NOT TO LOVE ABOUT THAT?!

GOODIES from the event!

Lastly, for all of the attendees and press, we were given these goodie bags filled with different merch of the games they are showcasing. SO COOL!

Overall, this Press Event was really fun and NIS America are coming up this year with all of the 19 games they will be releasing. Hope you guys are as pumped as I am about these games and make sure to check out the games when they come out. To stay up-to-date with the games, make sure to check out NIS America’s website and their social media to find out more information.
