Are you a fan of the notorious Japanese film, Battle Royale or the Hunger Games series? Both being gory, both involve the idea of a battle to the death, last man standing, bloody hell all over! Well, if you are into that style of story, but with a different twist, I highly suggest taking a dip into the anime series, Mirai Nikki aka Future Diary.
Mirai Nikki (Future Diary)
This story is about the life of Yuki, a 14 year old boy who’s always been alone and kept to himself. He would usually write up all the events on his phone and keeps it like a diary. One day, he ends up finding out that his cellphone records future events where it predicts everything that happens to him. Before you know it, he finds out that he ends up getting wrapped up in a game where they kill off each other and the winner of the game becomes the God of Space and Time.
