Otaquest Live 2019 was an event held at The Novo in Los Angeles, CA by the management group, LDH USA. Being that it was on July 3rd, it was the precursor event that started off Anime Expo for you. This event was the hype and excitement that you needed to get you ready for what was going to happen in the next couple of days.
Otaquest Live had multiple musical artists from Japan perform in this super, intimate stage. It would be easier to interact and enjoy your favorite artists. If you guys haven’t been to The Novo, let me paint a picture for you of how close you will be. Regardless of where you are in the venue, you will have a great sight of the person on stage. Now, you can just imagine how good of a show this was.
MUSIC ARTISTS
This year, OTAQUEST was able to provide all sorts of musical artists. They featured CrazyBoy, HIROOMI TOSAKA, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu, CAPSULE, and m-flo. You were able to be serenaded through CrazyBoy and Hiroomi’s music, felt the kawaii-ness and energy from Kyary Pamyu Pamyu and CAPSULE, and get taken back and forth with the power of m-flo.
It was a great night, full of amazing Japanese music, and being there really started off my week right. It was the chance that I would rarely get to see these artists, and what better way than seeing them so up close and personal.
