Crunchyroll HQ

This year at Anime Expo, Crunchyroll held their own headquarters out at The Novo in L.A. Live, where you would be able to experience some fun activities.

They showcased a bunch of different anime series with character displays right when you entered and throughout The Novo.

When you walk further in, you are welcomed to this display talking about their next con coming up next month, Crunchyroll Expo. This is where they gave the pamplet to see further details on the con, as well as these Stamp Rally cards for the Crunchyroll HQ. If you fill out the card, by completing the activities down below, you get access to the secret room (which I’ll show later).

As you walk further down, you see all sorts of sights…all these displays of different anime featured on Crunchyroll, a set of mobile games under Crunchyroll that you can demo (that are released or will be released soon), a ton of photography displays where you can pose with different accessories, and even test your skill on some game (which I’ll show you in a sec).

To start off our stamp rally, we hit up the photography area. We were able to take pics with tons of Rimuru from That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime and the Demon Dweller Sword from Black Clover.

Afterwards, we hit the demos! We were able to test out the RWBY mobile game and the Mob Psycho 100 mobile game. For what they were, they were really addicting and quite fun. They had 3 other games available to test out in the HQ, but we wanted to hit up the last area… which is The Rising of the Shield Hero Training Room.

In The Rising of the Shield Hero Training Room, you were timed to pop as many of those orange balloon monsters from the anime within 15 seconds, using the shield you were given.

OSYM was able to pop 7 balloons within the 15 seconds…pretty good!

Now that we got our stamp rally card complete, we were able to hit the secret room !! The room was waaay better than expected! IT WAS A GIANT CONTAINER FULL OF BANANYASSSS!!!!

They had 5 different types of Bananyas in that giant bin of plushies. They let us take photos in there, so you know…we took advantage of it! xD

In the end, it was a lot of fun checking out the Crunchyroll HQ. Personally, I was glad that it was in a separate area of the convention, that way, it gave a break from the craziness of the con, and made it a bit more intimate.

Thank you Crunchyroll Team for allowing us to check out this area before everyone else! We appreciate it!

Next time you guys go to Anime Expo, definitely keep an eye out for Crunchyroll HQ again, and if you haven’t already, get your tickets to Crunchyroll Expo 2019 in San Jose, CA.
