GET LOST PERV! Breaking Barriers in Clothing

Hey! A lot of people didn’t know, but before your brand name became GLP aka GetLostPerv, it used to be called Rule 34. Why did you decide to change the brand name? How did you come up with the new brand name? What inspired it?
You’ve been following me for some time if you know of this name. Yes, originally the name was Rule34 but it was impossible to own any social media under that name even the domain was unattainable so it had to go. Can you imagine looking for a brand under that name it would literally be everything other than clothing and you would get grounded with that kind of search history. As for what inspired the GetLostPerv! name I wanted something I could play off of with all my pervy ideas and of course something extremely easy to remember. I’m a pretty sarcastic person in real life so I guess the name was just funny to me cause I planned on being very sex culture heavy from the start.

Other than within the name of the brand, how would you describe your brand? What kind of style does it go for?
GetLostPerv! plain and simple is an ironic partial of Japanese anime-sub culture. You know how Professor Utonium added a drop of Chemical X to the girls…? Well GLP! is just like that but with a dash of sex thrown on almost everything instead. As for a set style just looking at who follows me I believe I have created a universal brand as corny as that sounds. I don’t really want a “title” I know my market is niche and I like it like this. I’m not trying to be a “hypebeast” brand or “streetwear” I feel like those titles leave a bad taste in some peoples mouths, plus hype dies daily why would I want that? I’m just here to get you suspended, get you guaranteed weird looks in public, and get you in trouble with your real life waifus//husbandos for looking at babes that show up in my feed.

A lot of designers had their beginnings to their brands. How did your brand first start? What started it all?
To answer this I would have to do a little back-story. I’ve always been into fashion but never wanted things in stores, I felt they lacked rawness. Most of my schooling I just wore solid colors with Forces or Vans. At the end of High School, I started my first brand it was very heavy music & horror influenced. Too many people were jumping on this style of merch so I killed it off and haven’t looked back. I’ve created two brands before crafting the #LewdNation that is GetLostPerv! I was honestly going to quit fashion and do videography full time after my last failed line but I wanted to give it one more shot. I started Rule34 just making hats (they will be making a comeback along with other things) and glitching pornography to build the name. After many mornings of reported images I decided to do more with the company but instead of it being a business I wanted to create a community, I did this by taking out the idea of this being a job and just being myself and having fun for a change. I wanted people to know that it’s just me and the people I commissioned.

What is your favorite piece of GLP?
I would have to say my favorite piece is the “Booty Babe Worship” tee. This was a collaboration with Adventure Skull. He’s been the main artist backing my weird ass ideas over these last two years. We have done a lot of work together and it was an honor to have both our names on something so raw. A very close second would have to be with CorpseTits, the Halloween collaboration we did is a weekly wear for me. She is such a wonderful talented spirit and I wish her all of the success the universe throws her way <3

I know you’ve done a couple of collaborations with people and brands. What other brands, companies, or people would you love to do a collaboration with?

All sorts of these styles of clothing usually derives from anime. What are some of your favorite anime series or characters?
Some of my favorite anime series would have to be Gurren Lagann (Yoko is my waifu cause redheads melt my soul), One Piece, Voltron, Evangelion, Elfen Lied, Yu-Gi-Oh, & Sailor Moon. (Fight me this theme song still goes HARD AF) There’re just way too many to name honestly all I do is watch cartoons, horror, weird b movie shit, and anime.

Anime is such a big part of our community and we love spreading this culture of ours around. What was the first anime that you watched that started it all?
Oh man, this is a hard one to remember, I know my first “non-kid” anime I can remember watching was Fist of the North Star and I was hooked after that I mean can you blame me Kenshiro is just a badass!

I noticed on your website that you have a link called, THE DREAM TEAM. What is that?!

The Dream Team is what I call the models I work with just a little nickname that has recently been changed to “The Nudie Cuties” the tab is going to hold hyperlinks to follow each one of them easier along with a spotlight thing. They were The Dream Team while I called my customers my Cream Team, Pervs, or the #LewdNation.

If you didn’t go the route of Get Lost Perv, but was still able to stay within the fashion industry, what kind of clothing would you create?
Honestly, I don’t see myself doing anything else now. I love what I have created within GetLostPerv! if it were to die for whatever reason I’m pretty sure I would be done with fashion too and just support homies.
