Anime California is a convention that was held at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport Convention Center on August 17th-19th. It was a nice, spacious con that held an assortment of anime vendors, artists, and events, from panelists to a mini shows.
You were able to check out a bunch of anime merch where you can find your favorite figures and plushies, to some anime inspired clothing, and even video games!
But within the convention, you can check out a bunch of the local artists, featuring their fan art, as well as original characters in print form, keychains, plushies, and more!
After you were done venturing around the exhibit halls, you can check out some awesome panels and concerts! Since the event happened all weekend, there was something to check out in-between your purchases.
If concerts and panels are not you’re thing, you can even check out the gaming area and tabletop area. They had all sorts of board games to play, and tons of different consoles to check out.
Don’t forget! You were also able to check out the Itasha area, where it was held by Itasha Alliance! They brought out a couple of their cars for everyone to check out, as well as creating your own slap to throw onto one of their cars.
*If you were able to check it out, there were a bunch of other stuff that I wasn’t able to see, such as the Fate Stay Night Escape room, the Karaoke area, and Blue Rose Cafe! These were hidden gems to the convention, so I was sad that I missed out on these awesome activities!
This convention was a nice con for the attendees to just hang out and do what we do best, be around the anime community. AND BUY STUFF! I really enjoyed it, even for attending one day of the event, and would love to come back again to check it out a full weekend next year!
