The 2020 Olympics are pretty hyped up for us otakus due to it being set in Japan.
I think what got us all stoked for it was mainly for the ambassadors that were assigned for the Olympics.
If you haven’t found out already, we are going to be having anime characters as the ambassadors! O.O

If you guys were like me, this definitely got me stoked! It always more than just the Japanese citizens to get into the Olympics more, but it allows for the otakus around the world to get excited for this event.
Also recently released were the mascots of the event.
These were the mascot designs that were revealed.
Children in Japan were all involved with who they will decide as the final mascots of the Olympics. They will be voting based on their designs and their personalities.
The final decision will be released later this year, so stay tuned to see if the characters you wanted take the win!
