Enjoy the whole squad getting eaten by level 3 on normal. That’s only if you play like me, but for everyone else the sky’s the limit!
Don’t get it twisted I had a blast playing AoT Tactics, I personally just need extra time to get into the zone.
AoT Tactics is a real time tower defense experience, with robust team configurations and satisfying combat systems. Game features include story mode, side quests, gacha-pon, character collection and upgrading, and much more.
The Story mode draws from the 1st season of AoT and includes cut-scenes and dialog from the anime. AoT Tactics essentially showcases bites of the story of AoT season 1 through the gaming lens with as well as its own original stories developed for the game.
The Gameplay is defense against incoming waves of titans using character and weapon cards in combination with an attack allowance bar. Cards can be either characters or weapons. When deployed, characters and weapons begin attacking the incoming titans.
The Strategic part of the battle is the formation of your squad. As the player your must create an effective combination of characters and weapons that furthermore bring various abilities to the battle. The combination of abilities give the players options to control titan movement, disable attacking capabilities, and even save captured comrades.
The Tactical part of the battle is how you deploy the squad during the battle, keeping in mind the total available attack points, AP recharge times, and squad card cool-down times.
